The Very Bestest thing about Vox was meeting Michelle. Her coming into my life was actually foretold to me but I thought she was going to be a Man!! She's just been the best gift of friendship I've known and I'm honestly so Grateful for Her Life...everything Good and Bad because it laid the groundwork for her to be the Support BEAM I needed. She's become one of my Favorite Life Partners and a True Traveling Companion. I hope to one day repay her for helping me hold on to my slippery sanity.

Gen... I don't know what to say, for once, I'm speechless! I seriously cried when I saw this. You don't even know how much our friendship means to me. YOU'RE the one who's MY support beam! It feels like you've ALWAYS been around and will always be around. Like I've already mentioned, this is the best birthday gift I think I've ever received! As you know, I hate my birthday because it's not the same without my brother. We shared our birthdays - both born on April 10 - me in 1966 and J. in 1967. We were kind of like twins, only 1 year apart. I don't really grieve his death anymore but it still hasn't ever felt right that I should still have a birthday when he'll always be 18 and will never have another one. It kind of feels like I cheated, ya know? I know, it's all a silly thing but still... Usually I try to hide until the day passes BUT you wouldn't let me do that this year! And for that I THANK YOU!!!!
