After almost 30 years, my Mom still calls me on Christmas Eve and tells me the story of the Night Before Christmas. In my late teens, I thought it was lame, now I cherish it and know that when I am old and graying...I will miss it.

No. But I have been Re-gifted. A friend of mine gave me a Red Lobster Gift Card one year. A few months later I mentioned it to one of his subordinates (we all worked together) and she told me she Had Given Him the Gift Card. I felt horrible that I mentioned it but had no way of knowing. Apparently, he is notorious for re-gifting, but of course, word got around, and he didn't get much the following year
