I am a Musical Theatre Freak! I often burst into song at inappropriate moments belting out tunes from Into the Woods, Evita and Les Miz. The boys really appreciate my knack for mimicking the vocal talents of The Little Mermaid and Belle. I'm grateful that they humour me :-)
A little known musical that remains one of my absolute favorites is You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. I've only seen the animated version a million times and I remember a fellow student at AMDA singing Fly a Kite for one of our weekly performances. However, lots of community theaters and children theater groups perform the production as well. My favorite tunes from the show are: Homework (A book report on Peter Rabbit), Happiness, Fly a Kite and the Title Track.
Snoopy also has a Fantastic number called Suppertime...and it's one of the few times you ever get to hear his inner dialogue.
