WNBR-C is a fun and conspicuous event celebrating the end of the oil era, and promoting positive body image. This event is global with dozens of cities participating world-wide, and Chicago routinely setting U.S. turnout records. This is a bare-as-you-dare event, with outfits ranging from body paint to fanciful costumes to beach-wear. Chicago's past rides rallied hundreds of cyclists and numerous skaters covering over a dozen miles of high visibility city tourism and recreation areas. The ride's atmosphere is extremely joyful and transcendently fun.

Bicycles constitute the best solution to reducing America's petroleum addiction and improving public fitness.

Potential riders in Chicago must join the Yahoo group http://ChicagoNakedRide.com for location announcement or call the hotline on ride day: 773-578-6289.

NonRiders can watch at the recommended VIEWING point, Halsted near Belmont some time after 10:15pm-ish and can text JOIN CGONAKEDRIDE to 8762 for announcements and en-route chatter to riders, fans, press, and stragglers.

On Friday, May 2 Chicago's Loop will be illuminated and transformed into a sensory playground celebrating arts, culture, architecture and insomniacs alike in the nation's first dusk until dawn artistic celebration.

Looptopia is an all-night extravaganza painting the Loop as an urban wonderland, with 300 artists, 100 venues, 14 hours, and more than 100,000 people. Highlights include: green sculptures made from trash by the American Institute of Architecture; performances by Le Vorris and Vox Circus, Midnight Circus and Cirque du Soleil; dance performances and classes; live blues, jazz and Latin music; and Olympic and Paralympic sports demos. There are of course Family Friendly Events , Food Specials, and even a Giant Game of Hide and Go Seek at Sunrise in Millenium Park

Sunday, December 9th, Soldier Field will host its first Holiday Breakfast with Santa to ring in the holidays. This will be one of a few times during the year when the Cadillac Club’s fine dining is open to the public. Families will not only be able feast on a fantastic 4-star brunch, but also visit with Santa and Chicago Bears kicker, Robbie Gould, who is scheduled to greet all those attending and sign guests’ favorite Bears gear. Toy drive benefits Walter & Connie Payton Foundation; All guests bringing new, unwrapped toys will receive a special bonus to the Chicago Bear pro shop. Finally, as a special treat for all, families will be able to take their holiday picture on the stadium field!

There are seatings at 9:30 am and 11:30 am. The cost is for $50 adults, $25 kids 3 - 12, and free for kids 3 and under. There is also parking available for $15
